How can you get involved?

Scouts, Explorers and Network, we have something for everyone! For Scouts, the Team runs Communicator Badge courses. For Explorers, there's the Science and Technology Badge course. For Network and Explorers, the Team runs short residential courses to introduce you to radio and the way the Team operates. We hope after that you'll want to join us on events and become a full Team member!

Leaders, you may be interested to note that a course can be arranged for your own Troop / Unit if there is sufficient demand.

Scouts and Explorers
Badge Courses

The Team runs a residential weekend courses for the Scout Communicator badge and Explorer Science and Technology badge.

  • Hands-on approach
  • Only £12.50 (including food and indoor accommodation)
  • Courses can be run for individual troops (if there is sufficient demand)
  • Qualifies you for full Radio Team membership

Opportunities for personal development and community service - ideal for Queen's Scout Award or Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
